Bush calls you “Johnny Mac”—I still call you an asshole

Monday’s New York Times has a senior advisor to Arizona Senator John McCain saying that “accounts of animosity between Mr. McCain and Mr. Bush had been at least slightly exaggerated.”

Really, gosh, that’s a shocker. I mean, Johnny Mac has been soooo openly hostile to Bush, like here, for instance:


Still, it’s nice to get it on paper, and AdNags and Jim Rutenberg have spelled out how, in order to be or stay president, some guys will (almost literally) make a deal with the devil.
