2,500

During yesterday’s Rose Garden presser, President Bush said, “The challenges that remain are serious, and they will require more sacrifice and patience.”

I guess this is what he meant:

The number of US Soldiers killed in Bush’s Iraqi folly reached 2,500 today with the death of a yet to be named marine.

The number of Iraqi dead likely tops 40,000.

All of which leads us to the question, just what have you sacrificed, Mr. President?

(No. I mean, besides your "political capital.")
